Thistle Construction has over 50 years of combined experience in home building and renovations. As General Contractors, we care about your family because they are like our family. As brothers (Donnie and Phil Aitken) began our careers in construction back in the old country, Scotland and we are extremely proud of that fact. We started our families right here in Victoria BC.
The Difference
As General Contractors, we believe regular communications are key to any project we manage. Whether we are focused on home building or renovations, the better the connection we have to our clients and their family the more comfortable they will feel during the process. We have a non-standard way of billing. We DO NOT work on cost-plus. The cost-plus method essentially is a system where whatever you the client decide to spend on the various aspects of the project, the builder will take those costs and add on a percentage. We do not do this.
